Elizabeth went to school last week and made the transition beautifully. It was a little insulting when I thought she would have a hard time saying goodbye, but then she went and sat down with her teacher and waved "bye-bye."
She attends a "Parent's Morning Out" program where she attends "school" for three hours, three times a week. The teacher said that she "out-shined" all the other students, but I'm sure that they say that to everyone. Elizabeth does know a majority of the alphabet, but otherwise is a regular 19 month old, but she's hard to rattle. We went to a water park this weekend and we stayed in the "tadpoles" section until one of the employees said that one of the larger water slides were good for little ones as small as ELizabeth. So, we climbed up about five stories of stairs when we got to a big water pipe where we sat on a raft and went down. We were all shocked when it started off plunging quickly and we were slipping up the walls of the tunnel with three toddlers. Elizabeth had a great time, smiled the whole time and had to be dragged from the raft.
