Easter Egg Hunt

We had a busy Easter weekend with an Easter Egg Hunt at Kendall's home and then Cadence's birthday party.  Elizabeth had a blast, of course.  We ended the day by watching The Ten Commandments and Elizabeth put her blanket on her (toga style) and announced that "I'm Nefertiri."  The Baney's came for a visit on Easter and we had a wonderful time.  It was interesting having an 11 month old and a nine year old here, along with Elizabeth's cousins.  A busy household that helps us prepare for our son's arrival in June.  We'll be seeing more of the Baney's at Ocean Reef on Wednesday!

Girls Weekend!

Knox was working all weekend and so Elizabeth and I joined Liz and her daughter, Catherine, on Singer Island for a Girls weekend.  We were there celebrating Catherine's 13th birthday with a few of her girlfriends.  The girls took Elizabeth on the water slide, which was the highlight of her trip.  It just so happened to be the weekend for Elizabeth to have the class mascot all weekend for a sleepover.  The goal is to return from the weekend with pictures showing how you entertained their homemade mascot, Abby Sweetheart.  So, Elizabeth proudly showed her around our home and then the resort and Abby had a great time! 

Elizabeth remains a backseat driver, telling me to put the A/C on "H I spells high" when she felt too warm.
