Deirdre and Steve visit with their son, Ian.  Elizabeth got to experience what it will be like to have a little brother.  Her reaction was mostly positive, but of course she displayed some jealousy when Ian became the center of attention.   He is a sweet child and they seemed to be great pals by the end.

Then we had a chorus concert at the school and she sang on stage and she was very excited to see us  in the audience.  She yelled "Mommy!  Daddy!" during the song and waved enthusiastically.  We'd wanted to make sure she'd see us, because she hadn't seen us at the Christmas concert and told me that we'd missed it.  This time we wanted to make sure she knew we were there and so we were standing in the back row waving and not playing it cool at all.  By next year she'll be embarrassed by such parental behavior.
