ELizabeth: What does "make her day" mean?
Carolyn: Make her happy. Like Gregory "made your day" when you two played together on the playground.
Elizabeth: No, I made his day...and he made mine.
Mrs. Hardy said Gregory was watching Elizabeth on the playground today as she ran and played. He just sat there and stared at her. Mrs. Hardy said "Go play with her Gregory." Gregory said he just wanted to watch her. So, maybe ELizabeth was right the first time ;-)
